A Canadian activist who has cycled over 10,000 kilometres to raise awareness of the human rights crisis in West Papua is scheduled to arrive in Melbourne on 1 December for a concluding solidarity protest/celebration.
Jeremy Bally will be joined by a crew of local solidarity cyclists to celebrate West Papuan Flag Day as well as the 12000 km and 7 countries he has cycled for West Papua.
People are encouraged to join the ride at 11am at Clayton station, or to join in along the Yarra trail at 2pm for a Community rally and bbq at Birrarung Marr for music and speakers.
This will be followed by a dance down Swanston St to the State Library for a ceremonial raising of the Morning Star flag and then later in the evening (at 7pm) a film and info night at Kindness House
